Story

Out of ideas? Lost in a sea of words? Or are you experiencing writer’s block and have no words? Or are we engaged in severe procrastinaton activities such as repeatedly doing the washing, watching interesting stuff on TV or paying too much attention to our children? …

Perhaps you need to open your mind.

If you know the difference between a noun and an adjective, I’d recommend clicking below.

Simple Stories

Screenplay Structured

In Geoffrey’s distant past, screenwriters have employed the above tools and received Australian Film development grants. I wouldn’t advise mailing the resulting outlines to the coffers – but they do give you a great starting point.

NB: Presently story template files are selected at random. We are trying to rectify this as you play.

Just chatting with Ed about these issues – Aubree this is a $20 program that will change in 2009. Originally it went up as a bit of fun, but you folks are actually using it, so we are planning for the story generator to transform a la Optimus Prime – so keep watching…

bixxt you are correct – a lot of the words that end in ‘less’ are adjectives. Bless you for actually finding an example of ‘less’ verb. Very clever…

Hm, Imogen. This really is a basic piece of code, but your uncle’s middle name must be quite long, no? The idea is just to give you a few ideas. It’s a bit rough and ready, but hopefully you’ll give it a second chance.

Thanks for posting, anonymous Writer. It does need a bit of work doesn’t it? Some peopel have actually used the output of this software – as it is here – in its raw form – generate ideas which have then turned into funded films and animations. If you have any thoughts about how we could make this a better experience, let them fly. It’s a bit crude at the minute, but we’re working on a fix and hearing comments like yours helps us think about solving some of the shortcomings. Point taken! Hmmmm…

Nice work. Do you think it is possible to generate theme specific stories, for example film-noir stories? Do you know if anyone has done that before? It would be nice to give that option, I think people get dissapointed because they receive a story which they didnt expect.

I love it. I had to write a story for homework. I used the Screenplay Structured Crazy Trip and I handed in the most perfect surealistic story ever.

Everyone in my class loved it.

    Check it out
