Evil Rabbit
Deep in Sunset Hollow stood a little stone cottage, and today was Charlie Day — the one day a year when everyone in the forest eats lollies for breakfast, lunch AND dinner.
Jarrod the koala lived there with a shiny robot arm that could flip one thousand lollies into the air at once. Next door lived Richman the monster, whose yellow, green and blue fur was so soft that nits kept moving in without asking.
But this year, disaster! A despicable rabbit had climbed onto the roof of the cottage and would not come down. It sat by the chimney, howling at the top of its lungs.
"This roof is MINE now!" the rabbit shouted. "And Charlie Day is CANCELLED!"
Jarrod had a plan. Using the robot arm and a knife, Jarrod built an incredible Rabbit-Removing Machine. It whirred. It clanked. It fired... and the rabbit simply started zig-zagging out of the way.
"I'm dead!" cried Jarrod.
Then Richman had a quieter idea. The monster laid a trail of exactly one thousand lollies, from the roof, down the drainpipe, all the way to the picnic table.
The rabbit's nose twitched. Hop. Hop. Hop. Munch.
By the last one, the rabbit looked sickly. "Nobody has ever shared lollies with me before," it whispered.
And that is why, every Charlie Day since, three friends sit on the roof of the little cottage together — a koala, a monster, and one very well-fed rabbit.

Instead of walking, it preferred to laughing machining down the street. All the neighbours stared and said \"Weerhoowaahaa!!\" My teacher, Mrs. Smitty, didn\'t believe me when I said my homework was shrinkinged by an alien. But then Jamjimmy burst into the classroom, twistinging smilingly across the ceiling. Now Jamjimmy is the school mascot, and every student wants their own sprinlkling alien pet.
